Just last march, married couple Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin publicly announced their separation. Now rumors are beginning to signal that the pair, who were recently spotted in the Hamptons together, might be rekindling their relationship.

A witness was reported to have said, "They were operating like a couple, and with the kids looked like a happy family." The couple were seen dining with their children at the Bay Kitchen Bar in East Hampton. However, after that and several other appearances, Paltrow and Martin remain silent on the matter.

The appearances sparked speculation that they may have reconciled after a few months of splitting up because of reasons that the couple did not mention in their statement on Goop, their official website.

"It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate," the couple wrote in their post titled 'Conscious Uncoupling'.

The post seemed like a permanent and long-term decision, but their Hamptons getaway suggested otherwise. Although, their trip may only mean that they are trying to get along because of their children, they did in fact mention they are parents first and foremost, "We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been. We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children...," Paltrow and Martin stated.

All hopes are still there that the couple will "Consciously Recouple" even after their seemingly definitive statements. With their recent family activities the public sees great potential in a reconciliation, especially with two kids to consider.
