A report by the New York Times dated Oct. 10, 2014 claimed that Disney Channels Worldwide has already given the green light to Marvel Entertainment to make certain that Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon and others of their extraterrestrial groups have their individual animated TV shows.
The New York Times quotes Disney Channels Worldwide president Gary Marsh as saying, "We have more exciting collaborations in the pipeline." Currently, the Disney XD is available in approximately 81 million American homes, the report said.
Earlier, on Oct. 31, ComicBook claimed that the online retail giant Amazon forwarded an e-mail to consumers who had pre-ordered copies of the multi-million dollar film and informed viewers that they would be availing their copy on Nov. 18.
On a side note, it is expected that the Blu-ray and DVD will be in stores on Dec. 9.
