GTA V: Online Heists Update Delayed, Video Leak Shows Updates
It has almost been a year since GTA: Online was released to the public. Thousands of players have already immersed themselves in the open-world, creating their own lives in the game. Rockstar has been busy preparing and releasing updates for the online multiplayer mode, but there is one update that players have been anticipating for so long, The Heists update.
The problem is that Rockstar is taking too long to release the update. What's more, the company declared a delay to the update's release and this has players disgruntled and disappointed.
"We are very sorry for the delay, and are working hard to bring them to you as soon as we can. Please know that we are focused as always on making the best possible content for you to play and we are thankful to all of you for your patience, understanding, and support," Rockstar said regarding the delay.
They added that it's taking "more time to create" than what was expected.
In response to this delay, a user has set up a website called AreTheHeistsThereYet.com, where a huge "NOPE" word in bold appears and a counter that counts the days that the Heists updates have not been released since the opening of the online mode.
A YouTube user named DomIsLive uploaded a video of leaks that would be available in the upcoming, albeit delayed, Heists update. Naturally, Rockstar has not commented about this.
The Heists update, according to the video, contains a number of new missions like Prison van Rescue, where players are made to intercept a loose van driven by NPCs and free a gang member. Other missions included are; Funeral, Territory Takeover, Fight Gangmate, Cop Territory, Ornate Bank Heist, and FIB Grab.
Rockstar still hasn't confirmed when it would release the Heists updates.
