Fans of the 'Grand Theft Auto' videogame series are excited to hear news about a possible sixth installment, and this time around, rumor has it that players will be able to roll through the streets of Vice City once again.

Speculation about the new installment started last month when Rockstar Games announced their plan to move 'GTA V' to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 by the end of the year. Although they didn't confirmed the 'GTA VI' rumor, the team didn't deny it either.

The rumors about 'GTA 6' vary in terms what the new game would bring to the table. Some claim that the next GTA will return to Liberty City (fictionalized New York City) while others say that it will be in Vice City itself (fictionalized Miami). Also, there are those who say that it will take place in more than one city and that may include the above-mentioned locations.

Beyond the setting, a title for the new game has also been talked about and speculated, but as usual, Rockstar has been silent on any matters concerning the sixth game in the series. However, a Rockstar employee recently took to Reddit to slam any alleged release dates and other misguided information. He said that the company was actually on the grind in making "another game." Whether that means it's 'GTA VI' or not, fans who participated in the thread still expressed their hopes.

"We don't know which direction GTA VI will take, but we've got some great plans moving forward. GTA Online is our main focus right now. We haven't had much time to rest between wrapping up GTA 5 and moving onto GTA 5"²s online content", President of Rockstar Games North Leslie Benzies clarified.

'GTA 5' has made some major leaps and bounds in the record books, as it has drawn in over a billion dollars in the first 72 hours of its release. It seems like gamers will have to make do with what they have, 'GTA 5' and 'GTA Online', for a while, until word is released about a new title.

Some of the more popular opinions concerning concepts for a new 'GTA' game involve setting the game in a different era. Instead of running around in a modernized world of computers and mobile phones, some fans feel it would be interesting to set the new game in a timeline before all that technology came about.

Beyond that, some others feel the game series would benefit if it stepped away from the US and took place in South America or Asia.

As it stands, there is a lot of new and interesting ideas surrounding 'GTA 6', but again nothing has yet been set in stone.
