GTA 5 Release Date News: PS4, Xbox One Confirmed to Arrive in United States in 2014?
It appears Rockstar Games signature gaming franchise "GTA 5" will finally emerge onto next-gen gaming consoles Xbox One and PS4, according to multiple reports.
The longtime rumor regarding the release of the latest "Grand Theft Auto" game on the newest videogame systems, was ignited further when an insider who goes by the name Shinobi602 answered Twitter user, Shaikh Sehran's question regarding whether an HD version of "GTA 5" will be available in 2014.
"@ShaikhSehran No idea mate. Though they do have a game set for this year, I'd imagine that to be it," wrote Shinobi602 to Shaikh Sehran via Twitter on May 27.
In addition, another insider named Ahsan Rasheed (who also goes by the Twitter handle Thuway) also believes Rockstar will finally release a port for the brand new gaming consoles later this year.
"The only remaster this year that will sell in excess of 4 million is the one, the only, Grand Theft Auto 5," wrote Thuway via his Twitter page on May 27.
However, Rockstar Games has not made any official announcement regarding "GTA 5" and whether or not the game will finally appear on the Sony PS4 and Microsoft's Xbox One in 2014. On the other hand, the gaming company is expected to make that announcement at the E3 gaming event next week.
The E3 convention takes place at Los Angeles Convention Center on June 10-12, 2014.
Rockstar Games released the critically acclaimed game "GTA 5" on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in US stores on September 17, 2013; while "GTA Online" was released on October 1, 2013.
