GTA 5 Online' Heists Release Date News, Rumors: Zombies DLC Update Featured in Latest Official PlayStation Magazine
Recently, Rockstar Games' rumored Zombie downloadable content was featured in a new article and was on the cover of popular Official PlayStation Magazine. However, gamers are still waiting for the highly-anticipated Online Heists DLC that is expected to come to 'GTA Online' and 'GTA 5' in 2014.
"Subscribers should be receiving early copies of #OPM101 in a week. It's out in shops 2 Sept - here's an early peek," wrote OPM UK on its Twitter page on August 23.
Earlier this year, Take-Two President Strauss Zelnick hinted that the popular gaming franchise might feature a Zombie DLC similar to Red Dead Redemption's Undead Nightmare (released on the Xbox 360 and PS3 on October 26, 2010).
"We had the presence of mind to add zombies to the title; and everyone always loves zombies. I'd like to do zombies in everything, but I probably can't say that here. But they do sell," said Zelnick to Attack of the Fanboy in late May.
Previously, Youtube video host Chr0m3xMoDz confirmed the Zombies DLC that will be available in single player mode after he revealed the leaked source code in one of his online videos recently.
In other 'GTA 5' news, Rockstar previously broke their silence regarding the major delay impacting the release date of the anticipated Online Heists DLC missions that fans of the long running videogame series have been waiting for a longtime.
"We know many fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the Online Heists that we had planned to release for you this spring, and they are taking more time to create than originally anticipated. We are very sorry for the delay, and are working hard to bring them to you as soon as we can," said Rockstar in a statement in late June.
Rockstar Games released the popular game 'GTA 5' on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in US stores on September 17, 2013; while 'GTA Online' was released on October 1, 2013.
