GTA 5 Online DLC Update Release Date: New Weapons and Vehicles
Today, Rockstar Games released a brand new hippies-themed update that will be coming to both GTA Online and GTA 5.
"I'm Not a Hipster" DLC is now available for the Xbox 360 and the PS3, the update includes a selection of brand new weapons, vehicles, and costumes, including a Vintage Pistol.
Along with the Vintage Pistol, Rockstar has decided to add more weapons to all Ammu-Nation Stores including an Antique Cavalry Dagger.
Players will now be able to cruise the dangerous streets of Los Santos in new ground vehicles which are listes as, the Warrener, Panto microcar, Dubsta, Glendale, Blade and Rhapsody. Besides vehicles and weaponry, the popular gaming company has added more jobs which provide players with additional gameplay options.
"Along with today's update, gear up for 12 new Jobs across an assortment of game modes, including Races that provide showcase opportunities for these new retro rides, a Deathmatch in Puerta Del Sol, two new Captures and more. There are also three new Gang Attacks in Chumash, East Vinewood and Mirror Park," wrote Rockstar Games on their Newswire page.
To go along with the hippie theme, Rockstar Games has also unveiled new ways to customize your characters, such as skinny jeans, 49 different tattoos, animal masks, hairstyles and vintage print T-shirts.
In the brand new update, the company fixed many problems that affected gamers including the following:
"Players will no longer be charged Insurance costs if their vehicle is destroyed by another player who does not have enough GTA$ to pay. Fixed an issue where, if an insured Personal Vehicle was destroyed, both parties had to pay the insurance costs. Fixed an issue where some four-wheel drive vehicles had reverted to two-wheel drive. Players are now able to bookmark Jobs whilst in a Playlist from the Pause menu. Tear Gas now does more damage and lasts longer. A small tick has been added to the first screen in the corona if a player has played a Job before, much like in the pause menu or Next Job Voting Screen. The level of difficultyÂ
Rockstar Games released the popular game "GTA 5" on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in US stores on September 17, 2013; while "GTA Online" was released on October 1, 2013.
The newest version of "GTA 5" will arrive in stores for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One in Fall 2014.
