King of Queen's star, Kevin James, is known for his ability to make people laugh, and hard. Many fans are flocking to theaters to see his performance of Grown Ups 2 this weekend.Although the artsy-fartsy movie lovers at Rotten Tomatoes have given Grown-Ups 2 a whopping 7% in reviews, fans have given it sturdy 90%.

Although James is known for his robust size and good humored disposition, Kevin does have a serious side. Here are 3 fun facts you didn't know about Kevin.

1) His real last name is KNIPFLING. as in Knip-Fling. Its of German descent, and is quite a mouthful. Poor guy, its no wonder he goes by his stage name of 'James'.

2) His Faith is a big deal. Kevin is a devout Christian and wants his work to honor God. He's quoted as saying, "I'm Catholic Christian. My father always took us to church and we went as a family. I knew, at times in my life, where I would not fall away completely out of the faith, but just not be as faithful and not learn as much. Later on in life, I just started coming back to it more and more. And I'm continuing to learn more and more each day and trying to be the person that God wants me to be."

3) His love for football is not limited to couch watching. James played fullback on his college football team, State University of New york,  before a back injury and acting opportunity took him out of the game and college.
