Sarah Drew plays the character April on the show, and she recently sat down with TV Guide for an interview. She discussed how the pregnancy news will affect April and Jackson's relationship.

"It's going to cause them to have some really intense and stressful conversations," Drew said.

She went on toi describe the nature of the conversations between April and Jackson.

"It causes some tension that they're going to have to work out. She doesn't know how she feels about whether she wants a child now or whether they'll ever be able to reconcile their differences in how they want to raise their kids. It's going to lead to a lot more conversations about that stuff," the actress said.

Drew also discussed some events of the fast approaching season finale.

"In the finale, there's a possible terrorist attack that sends a ton of injured people to Grey Sloan Memorial," she said.

It appears that April plays a major role in the finale. She does not let her personal life affect her professional life.

"April just totally steps up to the plate and is a total kicka-- trauma queen. The pregnancy is not affecting her work, but it is definitely affecting her emotionally in her relationship with Jackson," Drew said.
