The Movie "Gravity" premiered in theatres last friday and is already said to be one of the best movies of 2013. The movie that featured Sandra Bullock and George Clooney as two astronauts that go entirely into space and have their space station torn to pieces after a tragic accident. "Gravity" takes you into a whole other world as you go through each and every emotion between life and death, Director Alfonso Cuaron gives viewers a heart pounding movie. With the magnificent special effects and the countless times that you may catch yourself thinking "how did they do that", the film continues to bring you back to its own universe. "Gravity" gives viewers the expectation that both astronauts are going to survive no matter how hard the task may be, but even in the silence of some of the most gut wrenching scenes, you are completely captured by the movie.
Sandra Bullock and George Clooney join Director Alfonso at the Venice Film Festival to talk about the extremes that they went through in order to get this movie perfect. Wether it was Sandra being completely shut out and not hearing any sound, or George Clooney hanging on wires, Alfonso took four years to make this movie. Alfonso speaks about how the relationship between light and camera was detrimental to making it because moving the camera too fast would lose the specific lighting needed. As Sandra and George continue to talk about how uncomfortable it was to be in the space suits, they both said the movie was completely worth it in the end.
