GTA 5 PS4, Xbox One Release Date Trailer: Next-Gen Port Differences & Features [VIDEO]

Rockstar Games has just released the launch trailer for the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One ports of the popular videogame title 'Grand Theft Auto V'. The new version of the game will be available in stores next week, November 18.

Fans of the franchise know that the 'Grand Theft Auto' series is one Rockstar's most iconic titles. While the developer has already released the latest and fifth installment to the series on PS3 and Xbox 360, they've decided to raise the stakes and launch the game on next-gen consoles, as well as on Windows PC.

On that note, while the next-gen console ports are scheduled to be released next week, PC gamers will have to wait a bit longer as their port has not yet been completed. Unfortunately, Windows based players will have to wait until January 27, 2015 to get a copy of the game.

The new trailer released by Rockstar showcases the game's cinematics, which have evidently improved from the already released versions of the game. However, what gamers really want to see is how the gameplay has changed with the new PS4 and Xbox One versions.

Stepping into what's different, gamers who already own a copy 'GTA V' for their PS3 or Xbox 360 will be able to avail some pretty special bonus features.

For one, players who transition to the upgraded PS4, Xbox One, and PC ports will be able to drive the "menacing" Imponte Duke O'Death and fly, or attempt to fly, the classic Dodo seaplane.

Fans of the franchise can remember when the Dodo plane first appeared in the series of games, 'Grand Theft Auto III'. The aircraft became legendary as a vehicle in the game that was extremely difficult to fly.

Moving along into the weaponry that loyal franchise gamers will be able to use, a Rail Gun and a Hatchet had been added to the game.

Beyond that, Rockstar Newswire, says that returning gamers will be able to participate in new "Stock Car Races."

Apparently, a victory in the races will enable the player to unlock other stock cars, those with special decals. The post reads, "Win a series of new Stock Car Races to earn unique custom Muscle Cars adorned with logos from some of the companies that made this country great."
