‘Grand Theft Auto 5’ PS4, Xbox One Release Date Coming November 18, 2014 - Preview
IGN recently released some new gameplay footage from the upcoming PlayStation 4 and Xbox One ports of 'Grand Theft Auto 5'. Gamers can expect to find the next-gen version of the game available for purchase on November 18.
The gaming website also some unknown information via interviews with the developers, about what's changed in the new versions of the game.
Apparently, 'Grand Theft Auto 5' will be available in 1080p resolution for the PlayStation 4, but the resolution for Xbox One has not yet been announced.
In terms of differences from the PS3 and Xbox 360 ports, the game includes graphical improvements, 100 new songs, new weapons, improved damage and weather effects and the inclusion of new wildlife.
For those that may not know, 'Grand Theft Auto 5' explores the world of Los Santos and Blaine County and this time around First Person Mode will be extended to Grand Theft Auto Online.
"We've spent more man-hours on this than most games get from start to finish," said Aaron Garbut, the art director of Rockstar Games.
Garbut said that they have taken another look at every asset in the game from additional dressing and detailing of the world, to looking at every prop and increasing its resolution, or even starting from scratch where appropriate.
He said that the work for first person perspective made them address areas that they wouldn't normally have reason to address.
According to Garbut, every weapon, car and animation in the game has been redone, IGN reported.
On a side note, pre-orders for the game with provide players with a bonus of $1 million of in-game cash.
