Grand Theft Auto 5 PC Release Date, Latest Rumors: Pre-Orders for PS4, Xbox One, and PC Version in Europe
Grand Theft Auto 5 PC, PS4, and Xbox One release dates are now be listed on Romanian shopping website Altex as they begin to process pre-orders.
According to Cinema Blend, the next-gen console versions of the game will ship out on June 15. With that falling on a Sunday, Examiner speculates the day is just a place holder until a final date is announced.
Uber Gizmo reported a similar rumor from a German retailer, who said the game should arrive at some point in June.
Other places have reported the PC version of the game will arrive in September. Numerous European publications have began listing the game on their sites, with some going as far as taking pre-orders.
Czech retailer SuperGamer.cz, claim the game is coming on June 13. However, according to some sources the information is a bit suspicious because the platform listed for the game is for "Windows Live," which is not a system currently available.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick also responded to talk on whether the game will head to other gaming platforms, most notably the PC, where rumors have been floating everywhere.
"If that is where consumers are, absolutely [we'll release our game on that]. But we wouldn't drive them there, we would just be there if they are there. That is why we have a companion app for our basketball title, NBA 2K Everywhere. It is wherever consumers want to be," he told MCV.
So again, as with GTA 5, all there are is rumors and reports speculating the release of this highly anticipated game.
