Grand Theft Auto 5 Online Heists DLC Delayed; 'I'm Not a Hipster' Update Released to Holdover Gamers (VIDEO)
Grand Theft Auto 5 Online Heists has been delayed until further notice by Rockstar Studios, it was originally set to release in the Spring. Now one month into the Summer, and the only changes have been through the "I'm Not a Hipster" update which came out June 17.
"We know many fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the Online Heists that we had planned to release for you this spring, and they are taking more time to create than originally anticipated. We are very sorry for the delay, and are working hard to bring them to you as soon as we can," Rockstar said.
The gaming company has urged its gamers to "stay tuned" as more updates, DLCs, and special in game features would be coming this summer.
GTA 5 Online's "I'm Not a Hipster" DLC was just released and now gamers can get new clothing, masks, hair styles, and tattoos for free.
According to Joystiq, Rockstar Games will be introducing seven new vehicles into the game ranging from classic cars to rugged trucks. In addition there will be 12 new jobs and two antique weapons.
Announced at the E3 Conference, GTA 5 will release on the next-gen consoles (PS4 and Xbox One) as well as the PC sometime this Fall.
They also stated that GTA Online data will be transferable, but not single player mode data. Polygon reported that the data will go to a cloud based system called Rockstar Social Club. In addition, all of the previous DLC's and updates will be added to the new editions of the game.
