Grand Theft Auto 5 News, Update: Patch 1.15 Independence Day Special Introduces 4th of July Themed Weapons, Clothing, and More (TRAILER)
A new Grand Theft Auto 5 update is out just in time for Independence Day and offers over 40 new holiday themed weapons, fireworks, skins, and articles of clothing.
The 1.15 Independence Day Special Patch, also includes an "On Call" Matchmaking function. According to PlayStation Lifestyle, this will allow players to play in freemode while they wait for a job invite.
From screenshots, it appears a motorcycle and monster truck with a red, white, and blue theme are the new vehicles. There is a fireworks launcher and a Revolutionary War style musket. Other features include various fireworks, parachute modifications, and hairstyles.
The update features a lot of glitch and exploit fixes which can all be seen here.

"Celebrate America's glorious heritage with the Musket, part of the new GTA Online Independence Day Special. Now available," wrote Rockstar on the video.
Also rumored to be on its way is the GTA 5 Online DLC Heists which was supposed to be out this spring.
"We know many fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the Online Heists that we had planned to release for you this spring, and they are taking more time to create than originally anticipated. We are very sorry for the delay, and are working hard to bring them to you as soon as we can," Rockstar said in an announcement.
The gaming company has urged its gamers to "stay tuned" as more updates, DLCs, and special in game features would be coming this summer.
GTA 5 Online's "I'm Not a Hipster" DLC was just released and now gamers can get new clothing, masks, hair styles, and tattoos for free.
According to Joystiq, Rockstar Games will be introducing seven new vehicles into the game ranging from classic cars to rugged trucks. In addition there will be 12 new jobs and two antique weapons.
