‘Gotham’ Pilot Leaked, Season 1 Episode 1 Spoilers Revealed by Script Copy
The possible plot for the pilot episode of the upcoming TV series Gotham by FOX has been leaked.
io9 was allegedly able to get hold of a leaked copy of the pilot's script entitled, "Second Network Draft." The basic premise of the show, some characters, and the actors who will play them have been revealed here
The show will feature a young James Gordon, to be played by James McKenzie and his partner Harvey Bullock, to be played by Donal Logue. Gordon will be portrayed as idealistic and Gordon as morally corrupt.
The casting of the young Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle was also announced.
The pilot appears to be an introduction to the series instead of a stand-alone, according to io9. The first episode shows Bullock giving Gordon a city tour while trying to solve the murder of Wayne's parents. They meet the future Penguin, a young Catwoman and a girl named Ivy, whose character might be developed as the future Poison Ivy.
It has been revealed that other villains like the Riddler will be featured in the series.
Fans were left to speculate on the role of Bruce Wayne before he becomes the caped Crusader. It was contested whether the story about the young Bruce Wayne will eventually take the attention away from James Gordon as the main protagonist.
Despite the lack of Batman's actual character, the show allegedly goes to great lengths to show casual fans that 'Gotham' will be a Batman show. Conflicting expectations from fans range from the young Wayne having a minor involvement to a major one as he gets older in future seasons.
'Gotham' debuts on FOX in the Fall.
