Citing rumors, Christian Today reports that the upcoming device will have the facility to capture 4K videos at the speed of 60 fps. It also suggests that the GoPro 5 will be able produce further vivid as well as dramatic scenes compared to its predecessor.
A recent report in Vine Report claimed that the GoPro Hero 5 will be able to capture 8K resolution videos, in addition to filming in 4K. In fact, earlier GoPro products are also capable of doing this. The 8K video resolution, which is also called the Full Ultra HD, will be able to offer clearer outputs rendering an outstanding 4,320 pixels. At the same time, the report stated that users will still be able to choose between shooting in 4K at 60 fps if they desire so.
In addition, it is rumored that the GoPro 5 will be equipped with an A10 processor in addition to a bigger 2800 mAh battery unit that would enable the device to remain functional for roughly two hours with only a single charge. The GoPro Hero 5 is also expected to be equipped with dual lens to allow the users capture 3D images.
Although GoPro has not made any official announcement regarding the precise release date of the upcoming device, there are rumors claiming that the GoPro 5 may possibly be launced as early as October this year. GoPro has neither confirmed nor denied such rumors.
Earlier this month, GoPro released a more reasonably priced mid-range camera called the Hero+ LCD, which comes with the touch screen technology that the San Mateo, CA-based manufacturer, used in the previous model - the Hero 4. However, but Hero+ LCD is more affordable compared to the flagship camera product.
The GoPro Hero+ LCD also offers user-friendly features such as Instant camera editing, HiLight Tagging, QuikCapture, Auto Low Light function, SuperView, in addition to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
