Google Nexus Phone Rumors, Specs, Release Date. Anything and Everything That We Know About The Newest Google Phone
Google Nexus has always been the clear choice for Androi purists and fanboys alike, and Google looks to continue their success with a new generation of Nexus looming in the future.
The search-engine-giant usually ties the releases of new versions of their Android operating system with the release of the newest Nexus, providing extra incentive for people who want to upgrade their phones or jump ship from another smartphone company. (i.e. Apple)
An LG said that, even though they wouldn not be working on the next Nexus, the Nexus 4, they would be "happy to work on a new Nexus if they were asked, but was currently not doing so." This means that, if the next Nexus is already in development, it's not being made by LG.
Even though we don't know who's making it, we have a few ideas about release date. The latest rumors put the handset debuting in late-mid Fall of 2013. If previous iterations are any indication, the smartphone should be around $300-$350.
If you're in the market for a new Android phone, and you can wait until then, you might want to stick it out. There seem to be great things in store for the new Google handset line and 2013 should prove to be a big year for the brand.
