Google Nexus 4, 5, 7, 10 Android KitKat 4.4.3 Update Release Date - May 2014 Date Fails to Arrive

Users of the Google Nexus 4, 5, 7, and 10 have been waiting for the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for many months now, and it appears that they may have to wait a little longer. Recently rumors hit claiming that the Android 4.4.3 KitKat would be launching on the Nexus devices on May 23, but the date came and went without any update arriving.

The Android 4.4.3 KitKat update will reportedly repair several glitches that has affected the Android Operating System since launch such as shaky data connections, accidental restarts and users missing phone calls to name a few.

So far, there has been no announcement from Google regarding the release date of the update despite rumors swirling from so-called insiders and leakers.

However, Google os scheduled to have a press conference at the I/O Developer Conference next month, when the company is expected to unveil the Android 4.5 in addition to a brand new Nexus device, largely believed to be the Nexus 8.

As well as the Nexus devices, the Android 4.4.3 KitKat is also expected to be available for Samsung gadgets such as the Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S5, when update becomes available.

Furthermore, the update is slated to be available on the Motorola Moto G, Moto E, LG G Pad 8.3 and the Sony Xperia Z Ultra.

The Google I/O Developer Conference takes place on June 25-26 at Moscone West in San Francisco.
