Google Nexus 10 2 Release Date at CES 2014 Event in Las Vegas in January?
The Google Nexus 10 2 release date could drop at the Consumers Electronics Show 2014 (CES 2014) in Las Vegas or in the days just prior to the event, according to new rumors surrounding the device.
According to a report, the next wave of Google Nexus 10 may be presented at the event and the tablet will be mass-produced by Samsung.
Prior to the report, LG and ASUS were also rumored as the potential manufacturer.
Some estimate that Google might host its own introduction event for its 10-inch tablet before the technology show.
There is also a likelihood that Google will release the tablet in the Play Store just like the company did with the Nexus 5 smartphone.
The first generation of Google's tablet was made by the South Korean company, but that initial version of the tablet did not make a big impact on the market.
According to earlier rumors, Google was said to be switching the manufacturer of its 10-inch tablet to ASUS - which of course made the popular Nexus 7 device.
The first generation of Google Nexus 10 was said to have fallen below the expectations of many consumers and that was one of the core reasons for poor sales. However, if the latest rumors hold true then Google will be sticking with Samsung to manufacture the latest version of the device, and with so much hype about the next generation Nexus 10 2 tablet, most are expecting it to be a massive hit when it arrives in 2014.
According to Tablets Magazine, "Samsung would be early next year, at least three new tablets announcing according to recent rumors, including the cheap Galaxy Tab Lite 3 and a 12.2-inch Galaxy Note Pro."
The Consumer Electronics Show will start on January 7 and end on January 10 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
