Golden State Warriors vs. the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5, Stephen Curry & Klay Thompson Best Shooters in NBA

After the San Antonio Spurs put up huge win totals in the regular season, they once again are struggling in the playoffs.

The Spurs who always seem to defy the odds in the regular season when no one pics them, have seemed to break down mentally, but mostly physically in that playoffs the last few years.

Coach Gregg Popovich tries to do everything in his power to sit and rest his big three, Duncan, Parker and Ginóbili , but injuries always seem to occur. Ginobli has been hobbled in these playoffs and Parker just injured in leg after taking a hit in game 3.

The bigger surprise in this series has been that the Golden State Warriors have dominated the Spurs in all but one game this series so far. The Warriors choked up game one after mounted an 18 point lead in the second half, or this series would be 3-1 right now.

Warrior guard, Stephen Curry, has already become a breakout star and known already as one of the best shooters in the game in his young NBA career. However, the other guard, Klay Thompson, has had a breakout playoff run.

This whole year, NBA experts have been speaking of Thompson and Curry being the best shooting guard combination currently in the league and some even saying potentially best ever.

Well on the NBA playoff stage, they are proving why that conversation has begun and it is scary how good they can be together as they mature and learn the NBA game better.

Game 5 will be back in San Antonio tomorrow night and with the series tied at 2, it could go either way. Normally you would go with the home team, especially with the championship pedigree that the Spurs have, but the Warriors seem young and hungry. Their new head coach and former NBA player for the Knicks and Pacers, Mark Jackson has this team playing with confidence and fight.

Who do you think will win Game 5 and the series?
