Godzilla Movie Teaser Trailer Officially Released for 2014 Film: Breaking Bad Star Bryan Cranston Appears in Promo Trailer [Video]

Warner Brothers just released the official teaser trailer for the 2014 movie Godzilla starring Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron-Taylor Johnson. The movie is directed by Gareth Edwards who recently released the popular film "Monsters."

The trailer features large-scale shots of urban destruction and includes Godzilla's signature roar from the background. Although Godzilla was originally a Japanese sensation, this 2014 movie will be directed and filmed in the UK.

The trailer features a creepy narrative voice over from Robert Oppenheimer, the creator of the atomic bomb. As the camera pans over burning wreckage, Oppenheimer says, "We knew the world would not be the same. Few people laughed, few people cried, most people were silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture... Vishnu takes on his multi-armed form and says, 'Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.' I suppose we all though that, one way or another."

This new trailer for Godzilla teases a very dark movie compared to previous Godzilla films, which were almost comedies. In the same vein as The Dark Knight and Inception, Godzilla promises to be as much a psychological ride as it is a visual film. The movie comes from Legendary Pictures, the same studio that brought as the aforementioned films.
