New Christian Film: "God's Not Dead" Official Movie Trailer Challenges The Christian Belief System

An upcoming film that questions and challenges Christian's belief is getting a lot of attention months prior to its release. The upcoming film, God's Not Dead is created by Pure Flix Entertainment who has produced films The Wager and Sarah's Choice.

The official trailer for God's Not Dead has received 5 million views. The film will center one a college student who enters the philosophy class of an atheist professor who challenges his belief system.

"Josh Wheaton (Shane Harper), a freshman college student, enrolls in a philosophy class taught by an infamous and dictatorial professor," the film synopsis says. "Dr. Radisson (Kevin Sorbo) demands that all of his students must sign a declaration that 'God is dead' in order to get a passing grade. Josh refuses. But, he needs to take this class to meet his academic requirements."

In the official trailer Dr. Radisson makes it clear to his class that God does not exist by saying, "I would like to bypass senseless debate altogether and jump to the conclusion which every sophomore is already aware of: There is no God."

"All that I require from each of you," the professor continues in his lecture, "is that you fill in the papers I've just given you with three little words: God is dead."

Josh explains to Dr. Radisson that he can't follow suit with his orders because he is Christian and to him, God is in-fact alive and not dead, which lead the professor to strike a bargain with Josh. In-order for Josh to pass the course he must prove his claim that God is alive.

The film is scheduled to hit theaters March 7. Check out the official trailer down below and stay tuned for more news and updates.
