The 2014 GBIMC concert tour kicks off July 11 at Faith Fellowship Ministries in Sayreville, New Jersey, and continues at Redeemer Presbyterian Church Westside in Manhattan on July 12. Finally, July 13 is the last show date at Rivers of Life Seibert Church in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for each show, and the concert starts at 7 p.m.

The concert will feature a very eclectic group of performers including hip-hop artists Andy Mineo, Da' T.R.U.T.H., Alex Faith, HeeSun Lee, Dre Murray, D Will, and Isaiah Tate. The events are sponsored by In My City Records, Jam The Hype, Grateful Apparel, Rapfest, Nyack College, and more.

In My City Records was born from the God Belongs in My City (GBIMC) movement that began in New York City on October 2009. It was birthed during a meeting Pastor Daniel Sanabria had with three of his fellow youth leaders in which they discussed an atheist campaign in New York City that made the statement, "1 million New Yorkers don't need God." The United Coalition of Reason, a non-theistic organization, sponsored the campaign.

The pastor, in turn, started a prayer walk with over 1,500 youth from all five boroughs and the participants wore T-shirts that read "God Belongs In My City." The movement has now spread in cities across the country and the world.

The movement has also led to the launch of In My City Records, which is the music label that rapper HeeSun Lee is signed to.
