Glee Season 6 Release Date, Spoilers: Characters Back Track To Their Roots
It's been four months since the Season 5 finale of 'Glee' aired, and reports are saying that the production of Season 6 is currently in full swing. Despite the slight dip in rating for 'Glee' Season 5, producers of the show are hopeful that a turnout will come about when the characters of the show head back to Ohio.
It seems that the dip in ratings might have been a result of the unpopular ending of Season 5, in which the main characters ended up in New York.
According to reports, 'The first episode of 'Glee' Season 6 is entitled "Loser Like Me."
A bunch of the characters from the popular musical series will be back in Lima, with some of them even spending their time at the 'Glee' alma mater, McKinley High, including Rachel who will supposedly be helping out reinstate the school's glee club.
The 'Glee' lead character's decision comes after her "disastrous" failure as a TV actress, which purportedly drove her to divert her attention to her alma mater's glee club, where she virtually started her singing career.
Meanwhile, Blaine and Kurt will reportedly not be longer engaged by the time the upcoming season airs and will be facing new challenges as another character, Karofsky, will be vying for Blaine's love. The former sweethearts broke off their engagement after Kurt apparently realized that they were too young for marriage, consequently causing a string of troubles in their romantic relationship.
According to reports, 'Glee' Season 6 will kick off with Rachel's rendition of the hit song "Let It Go" from Disney's blockbuster film, 'Frozen'.
The show is also expected to pay tribute to the late Cory Monteith, who played Finn Hudson on the musical series from the time the show started in 2009 up until before his death in 2013.
The upcoming installment fo 'Glee' will be the sixth and final season for the famed musical series.
