Glee Season 6 Premiere Date, Spoilers: Brittany and Rachel Returning to McKinley High

Another 'Glee' character makes her way back into the musical series and back to McKinley High in the upcoming Season 6. Brittany S. Pierce, played by Heather Morris, will appear on the show when it returns to Fox network early next year.

Lead 'Glee' star Lea Michele surprised everyone when she recently tweeted a photo of her and Morris, with whom she was reading books, at what appears to be the McKinley High library.

In Season 6, the 'Glee' set moves back to its hometown, Lima, after the majority of its characters, including Rachel (Michele), decided to head back home after a series of unfortunate events that occurred while they were in New York City.

As fans can recall, Rachel didn't see the results she wanted to when trying for a career in acting.

The sixth and final season of 'Glee' will show most of the characters back in Lima, with Rachel and others spending most of their time at McKinley High as the lead character desperately tries to put life back into the school's nearly-dead Glee Club.

Returning cast members for 'Glee' Season 6 include Dianna Agron (who, as the show's producers just announced, will be a recurring guest during the final 13 episodes), Jayma Mays, Mark Salling, and Jenna Ushkowitz.

Regular cast members Daren Criss (Blaine Anderson), Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel), Dot-Marie Jones (Shannon Beiste), Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester), Matthew Morrison (Will Schuester), Chord Overstreet (Sam Evans), and Amber Riley (Mercedes Jones) will be back on the series as well.

Currently, filming for the final episodes of 'Glee' is in full swing, and it's only a matter of time until fans get to see how the producers decide to close out this legendary musical television series.
