'Glee' Season 6 Premiere Date, Spoilers: Final Season Starts Spring 2015
Spring 2015 will sprout more than flowers as 'Glee' Season 6 is set to emerge with its final series installment. The show was supposed to air in the Fall of 2014, but quarreling actors got in the way of production and postponed the season debut.
On a side note, rumors about Chris Colfer's removal from the cast were confirmed as fake. It turns out that the actor's Twitter account was hacked and posts that were not written by Colfer himself sparked gossip. Soon after that, the actor personally set straight the fact that he will be returning for 'Glee' Season 6.
While many fans were disappointed about the production delay, others thought on the positive side. Many figure that since the show is in its final season, production needs the extra time to make sure they close out the hit FOX series in the right way.
The last installment is set to take place at the high school where all the action began. The season will focus on where all the characters got there roots, William McKinley High School.
Spoilers for the final season confirm some of the cast members that will be returning. Among some the names on the list is Cory Monteith who played Finn Hudson on the show. What's interesting about his Season 6 appearance, is that the actor is no long with us, a heroin and alcohol took his life last year July 31. However, Kevin Michael McHale, who plays Artie, said the late actor will appear in the finale for sure, as he played a major role in the show's success.
Additionally, reports have been saying that 'Glee' Season 6 will only have 13 episodes, as opposed to the usual 24 episode installments. However, this has not been confirmed and currently, conflicting reports say the producers have their sights set on a 24 episode final season.
