‘Glee’ Season 6 Cast Spoilers: Chris Colfer Not Leaving, Actor Wants Miley Cyrus Tribute

As Glee prepares for it's final installment, Season 6, Chris Colfer dismisses recent rumors and confirms that he will be back for the last season.

His Twitter account announced Thursday, "Due to personal issues, I have been let go from the cast of GLEE. Explanations will come shortly...."

Apparently, his account was hacked and this statement is false. FOX immediately released a statement denying the post and said that they had signed Colfer to appear on the last season of Glee.

"We've been alerted that Chris Colfer's Twitter account has been hacked. Rumors of his dismissal from Glee could not be further from the truth," written in a statement from 20th Century Fox TV, "We love Chris and look forward to working with him again this season."

Colfer was interviewed by TVLine and he said that he wishes the best for the last run of the show

"I just want to see [Kurt] happy.... I hope to see him find validation within himself. I think that would be a great lesson for the kids watching, that you have to find approval and happiness within yourself. You don't get it from someone else," expressed Colfer.

He also suggested the possibility of the production doing a Miley Cyrus tribute, "I think we're going to do something...with animals and the elderly," he said.

"I kind of have this shot to do a really selfish episode, which if it was for me, I would probably have done a Miley Cyrus tribute episode." Chris continued, "But I'm trying to do the best episode that I can, rather than do something selfish," he stated.

Colfer received two Emmy nominations for his performance as Glee star Kurt Hummel.
