‘Glee’ Season 6 Cast News: Cory Monteith Tribute for Glee’s Final 13 Episodes [VIDEO]

Fox's musical series Glee is coming to an end, but no episode will be complete without a tribute to the late Cory Monteith. Actor Kevin McHale spoke to The Sun about the set's plan to come up with a tribute episode, which will be represented through the song "A Part of It in Some Way."

McHale, who plays the role of Artie, confirmed the tribute, but did not specifically discuss the details, "His character was just an integral part of the show, so there's really no way to go on and see these characters grow up without him being a part of it in some way," the actor told Wetpaint.

The final season is initially reported to feature 13 episodes, and is expected to air by early 2015. The high school drama anthology had its first run in 2008 and is recorded as one of the network's highest rated shows in terms of audience share.

McHale followed up, "We're about to start filming our last season, but, as sad as that may be, I think that's that. We've had a really good run, and we've done some amazing storytelling, and we've got meet a lot of the fans around the world, which is pretty rare for a show to get to do."

In a recent report, Executive Producer Ryan Murphy told E! News that 'Glee' Season 6 will most likely be shot in the "Big Apple." Though there is speculation that the whole cast will be returning to Ohio for a high school reunion, the season is keen on Rachel Berry's Broadway future.

In other news, 'Glee' star Harry Shum Jr., is cast in 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon' sequel as Tie-Fang. The actor will be playing one of the main roles together with Silent Wolf, Yu Shu-lien, and Snow Vase in their mission to protect the legendary sword, Green Destiny, from the Hades Dai.
