'Glee' Season 5 Spoilers: Rachel May be 'a Huge Success or a Flop'
With the season five finale of hit Fox show "Glee" right around the corner, many fans are curious as to how the show will end. "Glee" creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy recently revealed some spoilers for the end of season five, as well as some hints about what's to come in season six. Season six will be the final season of the show.
Murphy spoke to reporters about the end of the fifth season and it appears that fans are in for a surprise. Though Murphy remained somewhat tight-lipped, he did reveal that there is excitement in store. According to Murphy, the final episode of season five comes heavily into play in season six, and thus should not be missed.
"Everything sort of builds to a head. I would say explosion is too harsh of a word, but something big happens and then the final season is the aftermath of that," he said.
Providing more spoilers for the end of this season, Murphy spoke about Rachel's adventure in New York will
"We're sort of zooming in on is what's gonna happen with Rachel's Funny Girl debut. Is it going to be a huge success, is it going to be a flop, and if it is any of those things, where will that turn her? Will it make her want to stay and do more New York shows, will she want to do something else?" he explained.
Despite the end of season five taking place mostly in New York, Murphy revealed that most of the final season will not take place in New York.
"The final season is really not New York-centric at all," the executive producer said.
