Although the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee has yet to confirm the precise release date of its upcoming mid-range handset called the Marathon M4, its launch seems to be coming up, as the company has recently revealed on its official Facebook page that the device will arrive in June.

Christian Today reports that on Monday, Gionee posted a photo with a caption on its Facebook page that reads: "M4 is here! Let's meet in June. Always in power #GioneeM4." In addition to revealing the release date of the device, the post also gave a first glimpse of the smartphone, in addition to exposing a few key features of the handset.

The Gionee Marathon M4 will come with 4G LTE connectivity, and be powered by a strong 5000 mAh battery. The recent post on Facebook says that the device will come with a Metal design. According to reports, the upcoming Gionee smartphone will have an unbelievable talk time of 65 hours, standby time of 463 hours, which is over 19 days, in addition to 13 hours game time.

Android Headlines reports it is expected that the Gionee Marathon M4 will sport a 5-inch screen with 720p display, be powered by a MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3GHz, and will be packed with a 1GB RAM.

In the meantime, a recent report in Phone Arena has claimed that the device may possibly come with features like 16 GB of internal memory and 1.5 GB RAM. In the camera front, the Gionee Marathon M4 will come with an 8 MP main rear-facing camera and 5 MP front snapper. As far as the screen size and display of the device is concerned, the Phone Arena report is in sync with that of Android Headlines.

Phone Arena further claimed that the device will be priced below $300. This is in keeping in view the price of the Marathon M3, which is currently being retailed for around $200.
