Germany will face Portugal today at the Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador, Brazil.

The game starts at 12:00 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream via the link provided below (free for subscribers).

Germany is looking to defeat Portugal this afternoon in a matchup between the two Group G sides. Germany has previously won three World Cup titles (1954, 1974 and 1990) in their squad's history and they are seeking to add one more this year. The German national team knows they must find a way to stop Cristiano Ronaldo and the rest of the Portuguese national team in order to get the victory on June 16. German national team manager Joachim Löw revealed which two major players will play in the upcoming game versus the team from Portugal.

"Manuel Neuer took part in training and he is ready to go on Monday," said Löw to reporters. "Phillip Lahm played midfield from the start against Armenia [on June 7] and I'm fairly confident that will be the same solution for us on Monday."

Surprisingly, Portugal has never won the World Cup trophy so far in their team history, but they are surely looking to end that championship drought this year at the prestigious tournament. Despite the fact, Portuguese superstar Ronaldo will be playing in the World Cup in spite of a nagging injury, his fellow countryman Bruno Alves still has faith in his team leader (Ronaldo).

"The biggest figure in world football has to be here and help us achieve our aims," said Alves to reporters in reference to his teammate Ronaldo currently dealing with a knee problem. "We count on our captain."
