"Gentleman" Appears to be not Gentleman, Psy's new track is banned in South Korea
"Gentleman", the new track of Psy, has been banned by a South Korean broadcaster due to one sensitive and offending scene, according to Associated Press.
The video includes several degrading behaviors but the most controversial one is the act that the singer of "Gangnam style" kicks over a cone which says "no parking."
A KBS spokesperson said that the reason for the broadcaster to ban the video is because it fails to meet the standard to be broadcasted publicly. It seems to be a silly reason but KBS has a good ground to prevent such an act of destroying public property.
Recently the pop singer revealed the hope of using music to unite people of North and South Korea as the tension of the two countries is mounting.
Hopefully my 'Gangnam Style,' my 'Gentleman,' my music videos and my choreography... they might enjoy them too," said Psy, according to The Inquisitr.
"Gangnam Style" has brought the 35-year-old singer tremendous success with 1.5 billion views on You tube since the day released. The new track "Gentleman" seems to help the Korean artist gain international fame with 150 million views and more than 1.3 million likes within a week.
