Fans are in for some serious Port Charles drama in the upcoming episodes of 'General Hospital' as Celeb Dirty Laundry offers up the spoilers for 'GH' August, 2014.

Recently, spoilers about a relationship between Patrick and Sam have been teasers at best. Not too many fans put a thought to the idea for quite a while. However, new spoilers have emerged completely turning the tables on a SamTrick romance.

The two have been close for a long time now, and it seems as though writers for the show have finally decided to give two a shot at love. Even though they have never been romantically involved on the show so far, fans of the series have mentioned it here and there over social media.

However, a new intimate bond between the two already has a roadblock in its path, Jason Morgan. The character who has not been seen on the show for quite some time now will finally return to the popular daytime soap.

What's interesting is the timing of it all. It's strange that Sam's ex-boyfriend will come back to the show just to find her starting something fresh with Dr. Patrick. Regardless, fans are jumping on board the SamTrick train, as social media indicates.

When tossing this idea to Jason Thompson, who plays Dr. Patrick on the sudser, he had this to say about his character, "Patrick used to be a player, and he used to have his work. He doesn't have his work as of right now, and part of that feeling he had all those years was that people wanted him. His wife doesn't seem to want him whatsoever."

He went on to mention the possibility of a SamTrick relationship, "If he came up and there was a moment of weakness, I think he would take the opportunity to be with her, yes."

On a side note, the show has already been set to change its regular TV time slot. The show will move to its original 3:00 PM time slot on September 8 for New York City, Raleigh, and Philadelphia.
