Gavin Rossdale Joins Gwen Stefani On 'The Voice'

It has been confirmed that Gwen Stefani will be joined by a new member who will assist them as a team mentor on the popular TV series, 'The Voice'. Rocker Gavin Rossdale, Stefani's husband, is set to appear on the singing competition show. The married couple announced the news via social media recently.

Stefani and Rossdale were excited to share the big news with the world. Gwen tweeted, "It's official! So excited to have @GavinRossdale on #TeamGwen."

Meanwhile, the new team mentor also shared his enthusiasm as he joins his wife on the hit show, "This fall, honored to be part of #TheVoice w/ the lovely & talented @gwenstefani," Rossdale wrote on Twitter.

There couldn't be anyone more fit to be Stefani's adviser on the show. It is a good strategy for #TeamGwen as she brings in not only her partner in real life, but also a father to their three kids. Fans should expect to see Rossdale's musical talents put to good use as they vie for this years 'The Voice' crown.

Stefani is proud that her husband will be assisting her to mentor the team, she recently spoke about this to Access Hollywood in an interview, "He is super articulate and he has a really good opinion, and he is smart and he's been doing a really good job."

Both Stefani and Rossdale are famous for their music careers and it makes sense that they join forces on the show. The married couple turned the series into a family affair and fans will be just as excited as they usually are, "We both have, I think, a lot of experience in the sense that when you look back at all the shows and all the things we've done ... it's so fun to be in the position to meet (all the contestants)," Stefani added.

Last time, Coach Blake Shelton had his wife Miranda Lambert help out his team, and now, it's Stefani's turn, so it will be another exciting season and the fans will just have to wait and see how the dynamic married couple works for the win.

"The main thing, from my perspective, is just to make sure that Gwen is so good and excellent like all the other judges on the show. It's just sort of to not interrupt and to normally let her speak, let her do her thing and I'm just like a side thing." Rossdale told Access Hollywood.
