'Game of Thrones' Season 5 New Cast News, Spoilers: 'Thor: The Dark World' Actor Joins HBO Series

News has broke about an addition to the cast of the popular fantasy drama on HBO, 'Game of Thrones', for its upcoming fifth season. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje will be joining the cast as he is set to play the role of a character named Malko.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is a well known actor who's appeared in many popular TV shows and films. Some of the film's he's known for include 'Thor: The Dark World', 'The Bourne Identity', and 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra', to name a few.

Some of the television shows the actor has appeared in include 'Lost', 'Oz', 'Monk', and 'Hunted'. Evidently, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is a versatile actor who can play a broad range of roles.

Unfortunately in regards to his 'Game of Thrones' Season 5 character, Malko, not much has been revealed. Beyond his name, there is no information available about what part this character plays in the grand story of the HBO series.

Season 5 of 'Game of Thrones' is set to air in the Spring of 2015, but fans are still looking for spoilers and details about what they can expect.

In other 'Game of Thrones' news, two characters will not be appearing in the installment when the series returns.

It has been confirmed that Kristian Nairn, who plays Hodor, and his on-screen companion Bran Stark, played by Isaac Hempstead Wright, will not be seen at all during Season 5.

Nairn explains why in an interview with Monique Schafter via ABC, he said, "We have a season off and we have a year's hiatus, solely because I imagine our storyline is up to the end of the books."

The HBO storyline for the two characters at the end of Season 4 leaves them in some sort of magical cave. After fighting raised undead skeleton foes, they seek sanctuary in the cave, only to find what they have been questing for the whole time, the three eyed crow.

However, since the show is so popular, fans will most likely catch up with Bran and Hodor in Season 6.

On that note, it seems that Season 5 must be jam packed with events, enough to remove the need to progress the two characters in the storyline.
