'Game of Thrones' Season 4 SPOILERS / Wildling Leader Styr Cast for 2014 Episodes / 4 New Characters Join HBO Series [VIDEO]

SPOILERS ahead!

Game of Thrones fans will be happy to know that a significant wildling leader has finally been cast for Season 4, scheduled for an early 2014 release date.

Yuri Kolokolnikov, an actor from Russia, has been announced to take on the role of Styr, the Magnar of Thenn. Fans of the books know Styr plays a huge role in the series. He's the leader of the wildling tribe that is responsible for the attack on the Night Watch at Castle Black beyond the Wall.

Spoiler alert! They overtake the fortress and advance on to the rest of Westeros.

Kolokolnikov's confirmation comes in the wake of rumors that actor Joseph Gatt would be playing Styr. Apparently that was just a rumor sparked from an IMDB entry.

Other Season 4 guest stars include Struan Rodger as the Three-Eyed Raven, Roger Ashton-Griffiths as Mace Tyrell. Even Icelandic band Sigur Ros will be making an appearance. In what capacity I don't know, because I haven't read the books. Musicians of the court? Possibly the Wildling drumline?

No official release date has been set for the new season of Thrones. Chances are the premiere will return Spring 2014.
