Game of Thrones Season 5 Premiere Date, Latest Spoilers: Bran & Hodor Will Not Appear in New Installment Spring 2015

A recent interview with 'Game of Thrones' star Kristian Nairn, famous for his one word role, Hodor, revealed some interesting spoilers for the upcoming fifth season of the hit HBO series.

While much of the forthcoming and highly-anticipated installment can be spoiled by stepping into George R R Martin's novels, some fans don't want to ruin everything. This time around a small tidbit of information has leaked out of Nairn in his interview with Monique Schafter with the Australian Broadcasting Commission.

Apparently, the actor and his on-screen companion Bran Stark, played by Isaac Hempstead Wright, will not be seen at all during Season 5.

During the interview, Nairn says "We have a season off and we have a year's hiatus, solely because I imagine our storyline is up to the end of the books."

The HBO storyline for the two characters at the end of Season 4 leaves them in some sort of magical cave. After fighting raised undead skeleton foes, they seek sanctuary in a cave, only to find what they have been questing for the whole time, the three eyed crow

This comes as a major disappointment to many of the show's fans as they want to see how the magic aspect of the series will play out. Before then, there hasn't really been anything supernatural involved in the story, besides Melisandre, the Red Woman.

However, since the show is so popular, fans will most likely catch up with Bran and Hodor in Season 6. On that note, it seems that Season 5 must be jam packed with events, enough to remove the need to progress them in the storyline.

As it stands, 'Game of Thrones' Season 5 airs in Spring 2015.
