Game of Thrones Season 5 Release Date, Plot Spoilers: What Fans Should Fear for Spring Premiere Date

Season 4 of the hit HBO "Game of Thrones' series is not yet over, but fans around the world are already looking forward to the show's Season 5 premiere and the speculated problems associated with it.

According to reports, the fifth season will be entirely different. However, loyal fans fear that the new season may start to suffer a downhill slide.

Although there is no specific premiere date set, Season 5 is expected to be shown spring of next year. If you are into the Game of Thrones series, it would come as no surprise that each new season starts every spring. That part is pretty consistent.

However, loyal fans of the series are not too much worried about when the next Season will be shown. Instead, what worries them is the content of Season 5.

It is no secret that author George R.R. Martin is not yet finished with the book that will be adapted for Season 5 and fans worry that the production of next season will derail the plot and progress of the show - at least not in tune with the direction the author wants the story to go.

For instance, the "Winds of Winter' is still not finished, and characters of the show such as Theon, Bran and Sansa might get affected. It is only the fourth Season and the characters mentioned are almost done with their "Dance with Dragons' and "Feast of Crows' story arc.

If there is some consolation for the next Season, at least fans are guaranteed to see a lot of the characters with whom they are familiar to be still around in the "Winds of Winter.'

Still, the problem lies in the fact that Sansa, Bran and Theon (or maybe Daenerys) will be around in the "Winds of Winter' even before the actual book comes out. We are not sure if we should blame George R.R. Martin for using Word Star in a very old PC desktop because he could not get to grips faster, or we should blame HBO for its tight timeline.

Either way, many predict this will inevitably affect the outcome of Season 5.

There are also rumors that - in the absence of the book - the directors, producers and writers are going to expand the "Game of Thrones' universe. This is big news especially for the books and show's hardcore fans.

The more the "Game of Thrones' universe expands, the more "new' characters will be introduced (and more blood and gore and death?). Assuming the producers of the show decide not to short-sell the production and make major cuts, then it will be an exciting and scary road for the series.

So far, it seems that many fans is in agreement that HBO's "Game of Thrones' is the best thing that has ever happened to cable TV. We just need to keep our fingers crossed that showing next Season ahead of the book will not derail the hugely popular series.
