Game of Thrones Season 4 Spoilers: Episode 9 'Watchers On The Wall' Set to Shock Fans (Preview Video)

While the fans of "Game of Thrones" will need to wait until Sunday to know Tyrion's fate, they are already aware of Prince Oberyn's destiny, which was revealed in the last episode of the show "The Mountain and the Viper." The next episode has been titled "Watchers on the Wall."

The title hints at the oath sworn by new Night's Watch members, and the oath reads: "I am the sword in the darkness. I am the watcher on the walls. I am the shield that guards the realms of men."

Talking to IB Times regarding the future episodes of the show, Alex Graves, who directed some of the episodes in Season 4, said that Oberyn was "a very intriguing character, and he's going to have a very large footprint on the show, ultimately, and then Pedro Pascal was cast to play him and Pedro is without equal."

Graves further elucidated, "Pedro is this very lovely man who is an extraordinary talent who would come in and play with such ease, and nuance, this hedonistic, screwed-up guy that's very much not like Pedro. Then we would go to spear practice and I've never had an actor grab a weapon and get into a stunt fight sequence that quickly with that level of ease, and he was just mind-blowing, and everybody was just crazy about him."

Meanwhile, "Game of Thrones" writer-producer Weiss, told the Entertainment Weekly, "It's one of those fights that from the very beginning of the process of planning the show before season one we knew would be a high point if done properly."

He went on to add, "And it's a real challenge because The Mountain is The Mountain - you need to find an enormous human being who can also deliver what you need on physical front. And you need an Oberyn who delivers what you need as an actor and pull off the extremely strenuous side of that fight, which we shot over several days. We were lucky to find Pedro Pascal for Oberyn, who gives such a stunning, fun, and dangerous performance. And Hafþór for The Mountain is a truly unusual specimen - I believe he's the third-strongest man in the world and a former basketball player, so he knows how to move. To see somebody who is 6"² 9"³ and moving the way he does in person is a surreal sight to behold."
