Last night's episode of HBO's popular show "Game of Thrones" shocked fans with the sudden emergence of the character Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish. For spoilers on what's to come next week and throughout the season from the actor who plays Littlefinger, read on.

Aidan Gillen plays the character of Littlefinger on the show, and he recently sat down with Entertainment Weekly for an interview where he revealed some spoilers. He explained what is next for his character

"For me the season is about developing more of a parental and surrogate parental side - the sweeter side of Littlefinger comes through, as well. I'm off on my travels and laying plans. He's always laying plans, [this is one of his] meticulous and far-reaching plans, geographically and generationally, even," the actor said.

Gillen did go on to say that LIttlefinger has more up his sleave. He's not all about being parental and sweet.

"He's dangerous. People tend to refer to Varys and Littlefinger as the characters who are the most dangerous. Dangerous in that you're not sure what his game is or where his allegiances lie. You know, he's keeping a lot of options open and playing the long game," the actor said.

The next episode of "Game of Thrones" airs on Sunday on HBO.
