Sunday's Game of Thrones provided fans with its most linear episode yet, focusing solely on the events that take place on the Wall. The battle between the Night's Watch and the Wildlings leaves viewers conflicted, due to the death of Jon Snow's one and only love, Ygritte.

The episode depicts the first fight of many between the two opposing forces. It is essential for the survival of the Night's Watch and those it protects to keep the Wall secure despite their thinning resources and technologies.

As the battle rages on, the "Crows" use flame tipped arrows, barrels of oil, and even a massive chain scythe tho sweep the icy wall of its invaders. The Wildlings also have their own secret weapons, including massive giants and the mammoths they ride upon. Jon snow closes the episode with his departure from the encampment, toward Wildling leader Mance Rayder, in hopes to stop the impending assaults.

As for the season finale, the focus strays away from the goings on at the Wall, and steps into the more political and mystical plot lines. Entitled "The Children," fans can expect to see development in Bran's mission to find the dream crow. While his powers of Warg are already known to viewers, it has not been fully revealed, the extent of his abilities.

In previous situations, two to be exact, Bran uses his power to control the simpleton, Hodor, and force him to do what is needed for the party's sake.

Fans should anticipate big things from the crippled boy on a quest to fulfill his destiny.
