Kit Harington has become a relatively big name in show business these days, as he plays the role of Jon Snow in the super popular HBO series of 'Game of Thrones'. Beyond that, new reports have surfaced about the actor, and say that he's a descendant of royalty.

However, the actor himself seems to think that it's just something minor that's part of his heritage, nothing more.

He also does not want to be considered as someone "posh", which he later clarified by saying, "My parents didn't have a lot of money when I was growing up. We were comfortable, but I didn't go to Oxbridge." he said to The Evening Standard.

Kit Harington particularly singles out the American journalists because of the fear that he does not want to be labeled as a "posh actor". 

Harington shared that his father was a baronet and a descendant of Charles II and continues saying that he lived an average life because his family wasn't very particularly wealthy. According to Harington, he had to work hard to get into the acting industry

Kit Harington also disclosed that he used to live in a shared flat when he was at the Central School for Speech and Drama. He didn't even have a bed of his own, says International Business Times.

However, after the success of the 'Game of Thrones' franchise, Kit has been able to buy himself a BMW and a flat in London.

Kit Harington's career has taken him into many different things and he has also started several other projects outside of HBO. Harington says that the life he is going through is somewhat nomadic.
