Gadget aficionados are eagerly awaiting the release of Galaxy Note 4, the latest phablet from the South Korean tech titan Samsung. Rumors are afloat that the new device is going to be showcased at the 2014 IFA in Berlin this year.

As it stands, Galaxy Note 4 will be available with a 5.9-inch QHD 2560 x 1440p display panel, 3GB RAM, Snapdragon 805 Qualcomm chip, and a 20MP rear-facing camera.

At the time, evleaks speculated that this was the Galaxy Note 4 or some variant, he also mentioned that it would be provided by four major carriers: United States - AT&T, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular, then to Bell in Canada.

Another similar site, Carrier-wise, mentioned that apart from the above four carriers, a number of well known international carriers will also launch the phablet, including SK Telecom in Korea, NTT DoCoMo in Japan and China Mobile in China.

The Galaxy Note 4 is likely to come with variants in terms of their processors: for North America, South Korea, China and Japan, the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 processor will be used. Other countries will receive the phablet with an Exynos 5433 processor and Intel's XMM7260 Cat. 6 modem.

In fact, various rumors on the Internet also expect the South Korean firm to launch its latest wearable Samsung Gear 3 together with Galaxy Note 4 at the IFA event. This gains ground from the fact that in 2013, Samsung launched Galaxy Note 3 alongside Samsung Galaxy Gear, the maiden version of the company's smartwatch, powered by Android OS.

Last February, Samsung Gear 2, the second smartwatch of Samsung, was launched alongside the Samsung Galaxy S5 in the first quarter of 2014 at during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Soon after, the Korean smartphone manufacturer released Samsung Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo in April 2014. Incidentally, this was the first device of the company to be powered by Tizen, and not by Android.

For the uninitiated, Samsung and its partners like the Intel Corporation developed this new OS called Tizen.

Provided, the South Korean firm follows the same pattern vis-à-vis the release of its smartwatches, they are likely to reveal the next version of Samsung Gear 2 in September. In fact, a source revealed to the Korea Herald that Samsung is planning to launch its latest phablet - Galaxy Note 4, together with a new smartwatch in 2014.

Therefore, it is very likely that Samsung Gear 3 will be available as a package with the new Galaxy Note 4. However, the specs of the new Samsung Gear 3 are not yet clear.

Coincidentally, the release date of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is very close to the rumored release date of Apple's next flagship phone, widely believed to be the iPhone 6.
