Galaxy Note 4 Preorders and Release Date News: New Device Expect to Launch October 2014
Recently, Samsung hinted an October release date for Galaxy Note 4 through a promotional video entitled "Galaxy Note 4-Then and Now." The video advertisement that mocks the Apple's iPhone 6, ends with the words "The Next Big Thing is Here/October 2014."
On a side note, pre-orders for the new device have already started in some select areas.
Unfortunately, there has been no word from the Korean electronics company regarding the exact release date of Galaxy Note 4.
Despite Samsung's lack of confirmation regarding a release date, retailers from different regions around the world have begun to take preorders for the highly-anticipated gadget.
The retailers Clove and JD are two of the first to officially announce preorders in United Kingdom and China, respectively.
According to the retailer Clove, stocks of Samsung Galaxy Note 4, which will be available in the U.K. for the price of £479.17 or £575 with VAT, will start coming in by Oct. 13.
On the other hand, for the price of 5,199 RMB (Chinese Yuan), the retailer JD will be accepting preorders until Sept. 25, since Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will reportedly be released by the said date.
Making Galaxy Note 4 available in China as early as the said date is viewed as advantageous for Samsung, since the selling of iPhone 6 in the country will be delayed until 2015.
In addition, the release date of Galaxy Note 4's close Apple competitor, the bigger iPhone 6 Plus, is also reportedly delayed in China, and there is still no word regarding when it will hit the Chinese market. Therefore, Galaxy Note 4 can serve as an alternative for the consumers who are not too eager to wait for the Apple product.
Galaxy Note 4 is also expected to hit the South Korean market as early as the end of September. Reports say that three companies, SK Telecom, KT and LG U+ will be offering preorders for Galaxy Note 4 in Samsung's home country.
