Galaxy Note 4 Release Date: Samsung Curved Screen Coming at IFA Berlin September 2014

Rumors have it that during IFA in Berlin this September, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, with its curved screen will be the maiden 4k device. Additionally, sources state that the new smart device will debut with a 5.7-inch 4K screen.

Samsung has yet to announce an official release date for the Galaxy Note 4, but in the past Samsung has routinely released new versions of the Galaxy Note in September.

Industry insiders have hinted that the latest handset from Samsung will be introduced at a pre-IFA event on September 3. The invitations for attending the event will be sent out sometime in August.

An executive of one of Samsung's partners, according to The Korean Times, said that in addition to the Galaxy Note 4, Samsung will also unveil UHD OLED TVs, a rival of Google Glass, as well as a number of appliances at the ensuing IFA.

In fact, the Galaxy Note 4 will be available in two versions - one having a curved OLED display especially meant for niche markets, while the other will have a flat OLED display for mass marketing.

Samsung Senior Vice-President (Product Strategy Team) Yoon Han-Kil recently told Reuters that his firm plans to release a new Galaxy Note handset along with a "new form factor" sometime during the latter half of 2014.

In terms of its price, it is not surprising that no one is speculating about its price tag since the device has no release date, however, it is believed that, similar to the Galaxy S5, the upcoming handset will be priced between $945 and $1,030.
