Galaxy Note 3 Release Date, Specs, Rumors / Samsung to Release OLED & LCD Note 3? 5.99 Inch Screen, 13 Megapixel Camera
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to have a 5.99 inch full HD Super AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. Rumor has it, Samsung may even release another Galaxy Note 3 with an LCD display. Why? Samsung believes different markets desire both OLED and LCD.
Samsung is also rumored to release different processors based on country as well. The US and European versions of the Note 3 can expect the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. Eastern Europe, Asia and various other countries will most likely get a version of the Note 3 that comes with the Samsung Exynos 5420 processor.
Memory specs for the Note 3 could come in 2GB or 3GB of RAM options. Storage for the Note 3 will be the standard 16GB, 32GB and/or 64GB options.
3G and 4G LTE will also be available versions to choose from. The 3G Galaxy Note 3 will reportedly support the 2GB of RAM, while the 4G LTE will support 3GB.
If the specs rumors are true, it would appear that Samsung is taking a page out of Apple's book in terms of customizable options.
Along with specs options, the Samsung will feature a 13 megapixel camera. In fact, a photo recently linked online of what claimed to be a Galaxy Note 3-shot photo of the new Galaxy S3. Though there was nothing in the picture, except for the Galaxy series' recognizable curved design, to indicate it was in fact the new Note 3, the picture looked crisp and the phone sleek.
The new Note 3 will likely support the new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. All of these rumors should be confirmed in September at IFA 2013 in Berlin. Until then, we'll keep you updated on all things Galaxy Note 3.
