Galaxy Note 3 Release Date Rumors: New Phablet Launch at Samsung Unpacked Event September 4? Specs, Features Revealed

There's been a lot of rumors surrounding the upcoming Galaxy Note 3, so let's round up the gossip we got. The latest rumor surrounding the launch date of the new handset points to a September launch, probably on or around the Samsung Unpacked event, scheduled for September 4.

Per usual, the Note 3 is also expected to somehow pack a lot more features into a slimmer and thinner design. The Note 3 is expected to only run around 8mm thick but will somehow include a huge 5.99 inch full HD Super AMOLED display. That's 1080p for all of you living under a rock.

Again in a thinner and lighter phone, the Note 3 will upgrade the processor. For the U.S. and Europe, a 2.3GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 is the expected processor version other regions may be offered Note 3's with a Samsung Exynos 5420 processor.

The usual 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB storage options will most likely be available. News of a 128GB Note 3 is peaking the interest of a lot of fans around the Internet. Still for all of these features and specs to run smoothly, the Note 3 is going to need memory. 3GB of RAM should do the trick.

Chances are Samsung will streamline some of the features from the Galaxy S4 and include a 13-megapixel camera in the Note 3, and will come with new technology like Eye Pause and Eye Scroll.

Samsung will most likely debut the new Galaxy Note 3 at IFA in Berlin September 6 but recent rumors indicate Samsung could show off their new "phablet" as early as September 4as part of their Samsung Unpacked Event.
