Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear Release Date Confirmed for September 4 / Specs and Features List Leaks Online? Note 3 Accessories Available on Amazon

Samsung fans mark your calendars. The new Galaxy Note 3 finally has a confirmed release date of September 4. The new Galaxy Gear smart watch will also be released the same day.

Samsung Vice President made the announcement this week according to the Korea Times. However, he did not reveal any information regarding specs and features of either device.

Though the Note 3 isn't coming out until next you can purchase some accessories on Amazon. Laptop Mag was the first to spot cases and extended batteries with back covers. The batteries are of Hyperion Electronics Accessories brand which means the Note 3 should be compatible with the three major U.S. carriers: AT&T, Verizon and Sprint.

Amazon promises to ship the accessories within 3-5 weeks, which could indicate when to expect the new Note 3 to be in your hands after the September 4 release date.

As for the rest of possible specs and features for the Galaxy Note 3, rumors point to a 5.7-inch screen, slimmer design, faster processor and extended battery life. Expect it to basically be a more efficient version of the Galaxy Note 2.

As for the Galaxy Gear watch, rumor has it the details have already leaked.

Reports from GigaOM and Amongtech posted an alleged spec list for the high tech time teller.
