Galaxy Note 2 vs. Galaxy S4, Watch Brand New Comparison Video (VIDEO)

The Samsung Galaxy S4 is finally out and now there can be some good comparisons to the other top smart phones on the market.

Both devices have the same amount of RAM and the same options when it comes to the internal storage, but the faster processor definitely goes to the Galaxy S4. While the quad-core 1.6 GHz Exynos in the Note 2 isn't slow, both variants of the S4 have a faster chipset, no matter if its Snapdragon 600 or the Octa-core Exynos.

The Galaxy Note 2 is larger in size which can make it better for viewing things but also makes it more difficult to use one-handed. Users who prefer a smaller form will prefer the Galaxy S4.

Galaxy S4 would win the specs battle. The 1080p resolution and 4.99-inch display size leave you with a pixel density of 441 ppi. When you compare that to the Galaxy Note 2"²s 5.5-inch 720p display with a pixel density of around 267 ppi, it's even more impressive. If you like a sharper display, and who wouldn't, the S4 has the advantage.

Both the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 2 run Jelly Bean, but two different versions of it. The Galaxy S4 runs Android 4.2.2 and the Galaxy Note 2 runs Android 4.1.2. Both versions are pretty comparable quality wise.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 has the better camera than the Note 2 with many more features and a higher megapixel count and improved image sensor.

With the Galaxy S4 being the newer phone, it should be higher quality in fairness.  If you use your phone mostly for display, especially from a distance or you like the use of the S-pen, then the Note 2 could be right for you.  Other than that, the Galaxy S4 is a more superior phone over all.

The big competitor Apple has the new iPhone 5S scheduled to release this fall, no official date has been released.

Would you choose the Galaxy S4 or the Note 2?
